Duties and responsibilities:


From the outputs of the simulations and field trials you will lead or contribute significantly to the submission of a manuscript to a peer reviewed journal.


Essential requirements:


  • Hold, or be near completion of, a PhD in ecology, engineering, maths, or a closely related discipline
  • Experience programming in Python
  • Experience using or developing machine learning algorithms
  • Practical experience within a research environment and / or publication in relevant and refereed journals.

Further information:


  • Hybrid working may be considered for this role. Staff working in roles that are suitable for hybrid working will normally be expected to work up to 60% of their time onsite. The opportunity for hybrid working will be discussed at interview._
