Description
Homecare Services is a well-established, family run business, based in Westfield, Cumbernauld. We deal solely with home insurance reinstatement covering Glasgow and the surrounding areas.Due to an increase in workload, we require an Admin Assistant to join our small but busy team working alongside our Administrator, reporting to our Office Manager.
Some customer service or admin experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
The normal working hours of the post will be Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with a 1-hour break for lunch.
Key Responsibilities
- Dealing with new incoming claims, contacting the customer to book a surveyor appointment, and setting up on our system
- Booking trades for reinstatement work, contacting the customer to arrange, and discussing material choices
- Printing job sheets for trades
- Supplier invoices
- Taking payments from customers
- Adhoc admin support duties as required
Person Specification
- Strong organisational skills
- Proactive and able to use initiative
- Experience with Microsoft Office package would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently
- Good attention to detail and able to follow processes

£12,430.60-£17,290.00 per year
