£11.52 per hour (from April 2023)

Seasonal Zero Hour Contract

Are you a qualified and experienced Lifeguard and looking for an opportunity over the summer and weekends? This could be the opportunity for you


As a Senior Lifeguard you will work predominantly at our bathing beach at Sykes Lane and in our activity centres but on occasions be required to cover other duties to support our one team, one park, one experience ethos.


Our Senior Lifeguards perform a very busy and varied role that will see you interacting with customers face to face, predominantly as a lifeguard but also in a variety of settings from Watersports through to bush craft and land-based activities.

You willbe responsible for a team of lifeguards at our beach, assist on events, and will help ensure all customer journey processes are followed and well maintained.


Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in this customer facing role in order to deliver superb customer service in and around the site and to help promote the wider reputation of our Water Parks.

Flexibility is also key as you will be required to work weekends and shifts.

What does it take to be a Senior Lifeguard?

  • Previous Lifeguard experience
  • As a trained Lifeguard you would need to have achieved the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) and/or Open Water (OWL) Qualification
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Knowledge and experience of working in outdoor activity setting
  • Line Management Experience
