  • To serve the editorial needs across the business, including our clients and internal departments.
  • To ensure the highest level of editorial quality is produced consistently.
  • To support the Head of Content & Senior Editor in copy matters as required, across editorial, social media, internal/external business communications.

What the job covers

  • Delivering the highest quality editorial content, based on performance analytics to the client each month.
  • Supporting the planning and scheduling of editorial and social content production.
  • Concepting social media content for our clients, writing appropriate copy to accompany these, and working with our design team to bring them to life.

Responsibilities

  • Writing editorial and social copy for a variety of clients, within a variety of sectors such as beauty, food & drink, lifestyle & wellness.
  • Writing editorial and social copy for internal/external business communications, where required.
  • Working closely with the SEO team on delivering highly optimised content.
  • Create social and editorial content calendars that align to strategic priorities.
  • Working within editorial and channel best practices to deliver exceptional quality for our clients.
  • Participating in ideation sessions for content creation, where required.
  • Provide updates within the business on social media best practices and key features that may impact our strategic delivery of work.

Required Experience

  • 5+ years writing optimised SEO copy in the digital space, across social media and editorial.
  • Keen understanding of SEO and editorial best practices.
  • Experience in writing nonsearch based editorial content.
  • Experience concepting and planning social media content, in line with channel best practices and strategic priorities.
  • Primary focus will be Instagram but other channel knowledge is advantageous.
  • Ideal but not essential experience in localisation and transcreation for different markets.
  • Ideal but not essential multilingual, preferably Western European languages.

Reporting and Communication Structure

  • This role reports to the Senior Editor.

Performance Review and Personal Development
By the Head of Content on the basis of:

  • Overall quality and performance of editorial output
  • Editorial outputs and deadlines being met each month;
  • Client relationship and satisfaction with editorial content quality and performance;
  • Peer feedback as collated by line manager;
  • Execution and review of the editorial best practice & TOV guide created;
  • Relationships with other operating companies/departments;
  • Interpersonal/communication skills;
  • Being a team player;
  • Demonstrating the core values of Green Park Content;
