An opportunity has arisen in the Outpatient Department for a Medical Records Administration Assistant.


As an Administration Assistant, your main responsibilities will include preparing patient information for clinics covering a wide range of specialties.

You will also liaise with Consultants, chasing results, deal with inquiries and input data on to the Trust computer systems.


You will be required to project a professional helpful manner and ensuring complete confidentiality is adhered to at all times.

You will be working with a busy team and will ideally have some experience of working within this type of environment.


Criteria:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good customer service skills face to face contact with the general public
  • Proven keyboard, telephony and clerical skills
  • Respect confidentiality
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to operate effectively as part of a team
This role is based at the Doddington Hospital

Working in a busy Outpatient Administration Team alongside the Clinical staff, you will be working in a very varied role, with no two days being the same.

There is much to learn but the role is very rewarding knowing you have supported the patient through their Outpatient Appointment and Experience.
