Have you had experience working in HR administration in a busy department? Do you have excellent knowledge of HR systems and the ability to extract the right information and present this in a logical and concise way, both verbally and in writing? This is a supportive role in all aspects of HR, including ER, systems management, payroll, recruitment and reporting of key people data.


As a People Officer, you will:

  • Set out foundations of administrative support to the group people team
  • Provide basic employment policy advice to line managers and employees on a range of HR matters
  • Complete administrative tasks that include, but are not limited to, maintenance of relevant HR systems and databases, generating letters/ documentation, taking notes/actions of meetings and the setting up of meetings/hearings.
  • Coordinate L&D activities, providing regular reports on progress.
  • Be the Superuser of the HR system to support the management of employee records.
  • Act as the lead for HR support roles across the businesses and coordinate associated group activities.
  • Provide support to People Advisor for case management and Head of People for a variety of projects.
  • Produce a set of monthly reports from the HR systems as well as collate information from the business areas.
Your experience of HR systems and administration within a busy department will ensure your success in this role.
