Avanti Recruitment have partnered with an industry leading Semiconductor company in the Bristol area, looking to recruit a Senior Digital IC Design Engineer.

They produce products for a range of purposes including video streaming, datacentres and cloud computing.

The company have a strong global presence and are looking to grow their team in their Bristol, Southampton and London offices.

You will be part of a versatile team, undertaking tasks in both design and verification. Responsibilities will include understanding the design architecture to create design specifications, as well as creating thorough verification plans. You will also havethe opportunity to mentor other team members.

To be successful in this role you'll need:

Digital design experience from specification to tape-out
RTL design experience with either VHDL, Verilog or Systemverilog
Verification experience with Systemverilog
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl or Tcl
Strong knowledge of digital design tools e.g Cadence or Synopsys

It would be great if you also had:

Formal verification knowledge
FPGA design experience

The role is paying up to £88,000 with an annual bonus + RSU's. There are also flexible working hours, private medical insurance and a generous pension scheme.
