Harry Maiden Limited is an established firm of steel fabricators and welders serving the East of Scotland. Originating in 1920s, it became a Limited company in 1965 and continues to be a family owned company. Clients include local authorities, oil and gas companies, pharmaceutical & building contractors.

We are looking for a local skilled fabricator / welder to work in the production of bespoke carbon steel fabrications with the following:

Fabrication background essential
. (6 years+ experience).
Qualified to City & Guilds standard or NVQ equivalent Level
Must be capable of reading and working from Engineering & fabrication drawings.
Previous experience in bespoke steel fabricating.
Fully skilled in working with carbon steel.
Undertake in process quality inspections.
Must possess a 'can do' attitude in both welding and fabrication disciplines.
Must have GMAW/FCAW experience, preferably qualified or previously qualified.
Good time keeping and conduct in line with company policies and procedures will be required.
Ensure standards of Health and safety and good housekeeping practices are achieved in all work areas.
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, all employees must be flexible and undertake other duties to achieve the objectives of the company.
Mature attitude to work ethics and values which align with that of the company.
Ability to work using your own initiative and as part of a team.
Ability and experience using a variety of tools and equipment used for fabrication.
Full knowledge of relevant legislation and guidelines.
