Contract:12 month fixed-term contract or secondment opportunity.

Full time 35 hours per week


Location:

We are looking for a passionate Inclusion and Wellbeing Advisor to join our Inclusion and Wellbeing team as a maternity cover.

This is an exciting time to join team as we are in the process of refreshing our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy and developing longer term plans for wellbeing.

For the duration of this role there will be a strong focus on wellbeing, so we are looking for some who has demonstrable experience in the wellbeing space and who has supported in developing wellbeing plans for an organisation or led on wellbeing projects.

There is already lots of great work in place (you can find out more Our Benefits ) so we are looking for someone who can come in and build on this.

We couldn't raise the millions of pounds that we do without our hardworking, passionate, and committed staff, so this is a real opportunity to have a massive impact on their day to day lives at work.


What will I be doing?:


  • Support the development and delivery of the EDI and wellbeing strategies working closely with relevant colleagues and interest groups across the organisation.
  • Provide guidance and practical support to the staff network chairs and key members of the networks including logístical support for events.
  • Build effective stakeholder relationships within the organisation, providing guidance to teams on inclusion and wellbeing matters.
  • Engage our staff networks and other relevant forums on key issues relating to inclusion and wellbeing decisions and direction, consulting as appropriate.
  • In collaboration with the Inclusion and Wellbeing Manager and our Learning & Development team, facilitate a range of internal inclusion and wellbeing training, for example Mental Health Awareness training.
  • Represent the inclusion and wellbeing team at department meetings, directorate stand ups and other internal events.

What are you looking for?:


  • Demonstrable experience, understanding and knowledge in the wellbeing space and an interest or experience in inclusion
  • Passionate about inclusion and wellbeing with the motivation to build your knowledge base.
  • Demonstrates an active approach to inclusion and wellbeing with an interest in the breadth of diversity and different aspects of wellbeing.
  • Proven track record of owning and delivering defined pieces of work or projects.
  • Experience of delivering training content or an aptitude and willingness to develop this skill.
  • Developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships and adapt to a range of audiences and engage others.
  • Team player, emotional intelligence with ability to challenge across all levels of stakeholder and hold the line in terms of our wellbeing and inclusion policies.
  • Experience of organising events and coordinating internal communications or relevant transferable skills
