About Chester Race Company
Chester Race Company Ltd is one of the North West's best-known and most-admired brands. It is an evolving organisation with a broad portfolio but retaining Horseracing at its core. The Company, headquartered in Chester, owns two racecourses (Chester and Bangor-on-Dee) and operates a third course in Scotland, Musselburgh.
At Chester, it also owns and operates an on-course hotel, and a vibrant pub and adjacent commercial premises in Chester City centre.
The successful Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Delivering administrative support for the facilities department
- Reviewing all annual maintenance works and procedures.
- Logging, prioritising, assigning, and marking all maintenance works as complete within the computer aided facilities management system (CAFM system)
- Monitoring department spend and aiding the finance department.
- Help to drive efficiency in workload through prioritisation of tasks and cascading these to the wider facilities team.
- Creating daily, weekly, and monthly workload reports with recommendations
- Analysing data to contribute to continuous improvements, solution, and idea generation.
- Taking responsibility for contractor's accreditation and on the day meet & greet.
- Training colleagues to deal with contractor access whilst adhering to company policy and procedure.
The successful Facilities Coordinator will have the following skills / experience:
- Strong working knowledge and experience in CAFM software.
- Previous experience generating and analysing time management reports.
- Strong background in coordinating facilities management tasks, including, planned, preventative and reactive works.
- Previous experience working with budgets, monitoring spends and logging invoices.
- Excellent administrative skills in all Microsoft packages
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels, and to build strong working relationships.
- An appetite to find solutions to problems and assist with implementing initiatives across the department.
Hours of work & Salary:
37.5 hours per week (with some weekend work expected on race days)
£26,000-29,000 Per Annum
