Internship Opportunity: Research Intern - Cambridge, United Kingdom - Microsoft
Description
This internship is a collaboration between the Collaborative Intelligence Team at Microsoft Research in Cambridge and the Microsoft Loop Product Team.
We are excited to welcome an intern to conduct research into how cross-functional project teams could use AI-augmented collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Loop, to reach consensus on intent, to plan and track work, and to collate relevant resources.
For this internship, we are looking for an HCI/CSCW researcher who will undertake qualitative user research into how AI-augmented collaboration tools could be used to: (i) define and agree on shared intent; (ii) assemble related resources in support of planning, tracking, sensemaking, and action; (iii) support memory as tasks progress; and (iv) enable the co-creation of content for collaborative task accomplishment.
This will contribute to our understanding of the relationships between intents for task completion, the resources people gather, and the uses they are put to.
Findings will inform the Microsoft Loop team and MSR's agendas for future work. The intern must begin the internship during May or June 2024.
