In the children, families and school's directorate we are expanding our leadership structure to reflect our strategic priorities and want to recruit a new Head of Integrated Commissioning to develop and build on what has been achieved so far.

They will, with the Children and Families Partnership lead on the development of the overall strategy for Commissioning in Children's Services across all sources to deliver East Riding of Yorkshires Vision, and they will have overall responsibility and accountability for the successful delivery of all commissioned programmes, the line management of the commissioning team, and financial and budget planning, monitoring and reporting for Commissioning.


Children, young people and families in East Riding are our priority, and we are looking for leadership that will help us achieve our priorities and vision, championing child centred practice and continuous improvement with energy and passion.


You will be able to work on outcomes-based commissioning models and have a real impact on the services we offer.

You will be a creative thinker who can develop innovative solutions to improve outcomes for children, young people and families and provide value for money.


You will have the opportunity to work on a range of commissioning activity including the commissioning of services for children with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as services for looked after children and care leavers.
