Clinic Healthcare Assistant

Hereford, Herefordshire

Starting on £20,750 per annum
Healthcare Assistant HCA required for this specialist small clinic located in Hereford, Herefordshire.

Our client is one of the world's largest independent renal care providers who are devoting their efforts to developing the best renal care services in the field of dialysis.

You will need to be confident and enthusiastic, providing motivation and energy into a caring environment.

As Healthcare Assistant you will be expected to support the nursing team by undertaking a range of duties.

Duties can include but are not limited to maintaining clean equipment following appropriate training, preparing supplies and packs for treatment, undertaking health checks with patients pre and post dialysis, escorting patients to the clinical and waiting areas and serve refreshments during treatments and being proficient with the dialysis machines and working together with the MDT.

Healthcare Assistant Requirements:

Must be educated to GCSE level or equivalent
Minimum NVQ level 2 Health & Social Care or equivalent _(preferably working towards level 3)_
Interest in working in the field of renal/ dialysis care
Ideally previous experience in hospital and healthcare setting as a HCA
Excellent communication skills

This is a full time role 37.5 hours per week Monday to Saturday working earlies and lates days only between the hours of 6.30am and 11.

(NO NIGHTS OR SUNDAYS)
