We are seeking a Purchase ledger Clerk to join a supportive and friendly Management Accounts team on a 1-year FTC for Maternity Leave cover.

This role will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger function to assist in the preparation of the month end Group Management Accounts

Purchase Ledger Clerk - 1 Year contract (Maternity cover).

Duties

An inbox with purchases, load through invoices, check through approvals, looking at new suppliers, correct VAT numbers, check bank details for suppliers, upload up to account system
Once a week does a payment run
Multi task and juggle deadlines.
CIMA, ACCA, AAT (started or have it already would be desirable)
Someone with the confidence to chase senior managers to approve invoices.
Confident with chasing internal colleagues
