Site Operations Assistant / Shipping Administrator

£27,000 - £35,000

Cramlington, Newcastle
A British Marine Logistics and Engineering provider are looking for a new Site Operations Assistant to join them on a permanent basis where you will play a pivotal role in the organisation of marine projects and international logistics

You will be responsible for:

Communicating with port agents, vessels and suppliers to ensure smooth handover and transition of cargo
Working with all port staff and stakeholders
Ensuring all documentation is complete, up to date and relevant
Organising for transport and handling of cargos via third parties
Supporting the delivery of projects

You will have the following skills and experience:

Experience in the marine/shipping sector
Strong administrative skills
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
