Main Responsibilities

  • General warehouse operative requirements, such as picking, packing and goods in.
  • Loading and unloading of goods from delivery vehicles.
  • Interacting with customers regularly (at all levels) excellent communications skills required.
  • Communicating daily with TFC Walsall personnel as required to make sure our customers are getting an excellent service.
  • Identifying stock and locating it in the right area/point of use
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
  • Delivery and collection of stock for customers and suppliers.
  • To assist in other areas within the operation as directed by the warehouse Team Leader or General Manager, adopting a 'One Team' approach.

Personal Qualities

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Warehouse/stores experience working in the Fastener/C Class Component industry would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Fork lift licence an advantage but not necessary as we are willing to train
  • Full Clean Driving Licence required.

Hours and Pay

  • 35 Hours Per Week (not including 1 hour for lunch each day).
  • Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5.00 pm 1 hour for lunch.
  • Friday 8.30 am to 1.30 pm no lunch.
  • Annual leave 20 days statutory. After three full years of employment TFC grants one additional vacation day and after a full five years service.
  • Salary to be in line with experience and qualifications.
  • The position is permanent after a successful probation period of 6 months.
