Factory Operative / Manufacturing Operative

The Best Connection are recruiting Factory / Assembly Operatives for a modern state of the art manufacturing facility in Coalville.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment producing timber frame panels for house building in accordance with production schedules using specialist woodworking machinery.

All roles start immediately and offer an excellent opportunity for permanent employment following a successful trial period.

Duties include:

Working on a semiautomated line producing open panel timber frame wall units
Cutting materials, inserting thermal insulation, stapling, inserting lifting straps, fitting plasterboard and wrapping finished products for transportation

Requirements:

Previous manufacturing experience within a similar industry
Competency with pneumatic hand tools, using a tape measure plus manual handling
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on adhering to Health & Safety procedures and policies
Own transport desired due to location

Shifts and Pay Rate:

Monday to Friday:

0700 to 1500:

£11.71 per hour:

£17.57 for all hours worked over 37.

5 hours including Saturday:

£23.42 for Sunday working
