Hybrid, remote and Brighton


Salary:
£28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending upon experience

Our client, based in Brighton, is a membership organisation, who are looking to hire an Operations Coordinator to join their team based in Brighton on a hybrid basis.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee important processes in the businesses, ensuring things run smoothly
  • Own and coordinate the company diary, managing multiple event dates and details
  • Own the startup journey process from organising pitch events to coordinating due diligence
  • Create company content from operations documents to membership guides and keep things up to date as things change
  • Coordinate and support with delivery of inperson and online events
  • Coordinate new member onboarding
  • Track member engagement and generate reports
  • Liaise with founders and collate key information
  • Assist the Director with projects, communications, and admin
  • Create and update presentation decks
  • Draft newsletters and communications
  • Own meeting agendas, take notes, and keep the team accountable to actions
  • Respond to incoming company enquiries

Requirements:


  • Interest in startups, startup investment, and entrepreneurship
  • Detailoriented and like to maintain a high standard in your work
  • Scrappy and resourceful you can figure things out, get things done and don't give up easily
  • Charismatic and able to develop rapport with any individual
  • A selfstarter, happy to work autonomously
  • Able to identify gaps and streamline processes with little or no guidance from others.
  • Ablet to use your initiative and excellent judgment to make decisions in an ambiguous environment
  • Able to always juggle multiple responsibilities with unwavering attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel/Google sheets
  • Techsavvy and confident using modern SaaS tools such as Airtable, Mailchimp, Notion, Canva, and Event management software
  • Proficient in written communication
  • Enjoy selfdevelopment and are always learning
