Customer Records Administrator/Underwriter

Company Overview:
It's important to note that this role is NOT a sales position and does not entail face-to-face interactions with customers.
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:45 am - 5:15 pm, and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, 4 Saturdays per annum on a rota basis
Salary:
£24k-£36K Negotiable depending on experience

Skills and Experience Required:
- Essential that there is at least 2 years experience in propertyrelated insurance with a UK broker or insuance company regulated by the FCA, in either underwriting, policy administration or claims.
- CII Qualification a disxtinct advantage.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have valid work authorisation in the UK, we are not offering visa sponsorship or relocation packages for this role.
- Previous officebased, customer focused experience is essential.
- A positive attitude and ability to provide clear information to customers over the telephone.
- Proficiency in navigating IT systems for administration tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform administrative tasks related processing Renewals, New Business, Mid Term Adjustments, and dealing with general cover related customer queries.
- Communicate with insurers, RICS surveyors, Loss Adjustors.
- Handle and respond to product queries from clients efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate within a team to provide the necessary support to our valued customers.
