Description
WJC specializes in agricultural and industrial buildings in Cumbria, both site and workshop based,Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Fabricate and assemble metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
- Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure welded components meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Skills:
- Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to fabricate and assemble metal components accurately.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed.

Pay:
£13.00-£17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 per week
