Description

WJC specializes in agricultural and industrial buildings in Cumbria, both site and workshop based,

Responsibilities:

Perform welding tasks using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Fabricate and assemble metal components according to blueprints and specifications.
Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine project requirements.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure welded components meet industry standards.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified deadlines.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Skills:

Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
Ability to fabricate and assemble metal components accurately.
Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in metal fabrication.
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and make adjustments as needed.

Driving plant and equipment training will be given if required,
