*Grantham**Permanent**35 hours per week including early finish on a Friday**£32,000 - £40,000 per annum**Benefits: 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) pension scheme, free on-site car parking*We are recruiting an experienced Buyer to join a successful manufacturing company based in the Grantham area.

Working for a privately owned company, the main purpose of this new, standalone role will be to management all procurement for the business including identifying new suppliers, develop supplier relations, co-ordinate procurement activities and ensuring on time delivery.

Duties and responsibilities:

Negotiate with suppliers, review and manage performance
Procurement of components in line with production demand
Identify and drive cost reduction projects
Process purchase orders and maintain purchase prices on ERP system
Previous experience within a similar procurement, purchasing or buying role within a manufacturing or engineering environment ideally
Good organisation skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to maximise cost savings
A strong work ethic and a team player mentality
