1st Line Support

Salary:
Basic £22,000 - £24,500 + qualifications + additional benefits


Location:
Warrington office


Hours: 9-5:30


Role:
Understand and resolve technical issues, escalate when needed

  • Are you a Graduate with a Computer Science, IT Management or related Technical degree?
  • Have you worked with Windows Server , VMware, and GUI tools to perform trouble shooting in your degree?

We are working with a growing technology company who specialise in IT infrastructure solutions (design, architecting, configuring, implementation) and the management of Private and Hybrid Cloud Solutions for mid-market businesses.

They have a loyal and growing customer base that stay with us for our exceptional service and support, delivered by a highly skilled team.


They invest in people through development, training and support and are now looking a 1st Line Support to monitor the incident logging system for new tickets, perform initial diagnosis and fix or where a solution is not available escalation to the 2nd line.

The role also includes answering technical support phone calls and carrying out change requests on behalf of customers.


1st Line Support - Responsibilities

  • Monitor the incident logging system
  • Perform initial diagnosis and fix where a solution is available
  • Escalate 2nd Line Support queries when needed

1st Line Support - Requirements

  • University Degree in Computer Science, IT Management, or related IT/Technical degree
  • University, internship, or commercial experience using Windows Server , VMware, GUI tools to perform trouble shooting
  • Good problem solving and trouble shooting skills
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Desire to learn new skills, pick up new responsibilities and meet new challenges
  • Beneficial if you have knowledge / use of MS Exchange, SQL, Office 365, Azure
