THE ROLE:

Tech Lead - Intouch Platform


The Intouch Platform supports healthcare providers to manage entire patient journeys and optimise outpatient flow across all appointment types - face-to-face hospital appointments, virtual (video or telephone) appointments or remote appointments in the community.

The platform integrates with the hospital's PAS / EPR, supporting a joined-up approach to patient-centred care and optimised workstreams, as previously isolated processes become connected in a seamless manner.

As a result of this integration, the entire patient journey can be mapped and recorded digitally from arrival to discharge, with all information visible and accessible across the hospital to relevant staff.

Patient-facing solutions, including mobile and kiosk self-check-in solutions empower and activate patients.


The Tech Lead for Intouch will coordinate with all areas of the business to efficiently deliver high value, quality software solutions.

The Tech Lead works with the business tech leadership to define and implement technical architecture, design principles, and coding guidelines throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities within the role of Tech Lead will include but is not limited to:

  • Day to day leadership of a remote (UK and offshore) development and QA team
  • Running of Agile ceremonies; daily scrum, refinement sessions and the sprint planning
  • Work with the Product Office/SME's (Subject Matter Experts) to ensure clear development requirements are defined
  • Maintain the development backlogs (MS DevOps) and help remove blockers for the team
  • Collaborate with the QA team in terms of task prioritization, task status and readiness for QA
  • Guide the development staff in relation to architecture, design principles, and coding standards
  • Mentoring of development staff
  • Attending customer, partner and supplier calls to provide technical expertise
  • Code reviews
  • Preparing the new builds and assisting with deployment as required
  • Assisting the support team as required
  • Assist with overall direction and strategy, advising on technical roadmaps, and software architecture design and evolution

THE RIGHT PERSON:


EXPERIENCE:


Essential

  • 3+ years as a senior developer and above
  • Experience leading in an Agile environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercially aware
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both a technical and nontechnical audience
  • Strong relationshipbuilding skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Experience developing multitenant SAAS solutions
  • Some experience Azure / AWS

Senior level development skills in the following technologies, tools and approaches:
