Why should I apply?
You will help maximise our cash flow position by ensuring our levels of debt and unbilled are kept to a minimum.
You will help in minimizing exposure to bad debt and maintaining an acceptable level of risk by collecting overdue accounts.
You will also provide assistance to your line manager in overseeing the team's operations while nurturing vital internal and external relationships.
How will I spend my time in this role?
- To ensure all debt whether related to Management Agencies or key accounts is managed and tracked daily;
- To support with validation of change of tenancy and change of management agency details;
- Effectively manage and oversee companies under legal status to ensure the complete recovery of all outstanding balances;
- Collaborate with thirdparty debt collection agencies as needed, ensuring the provision of precise and timely information while strictly adhering to our compliance policies;
- Collaborate closely with the Debt Team Leader to ensure the team remains motivated and aligned with our missions and values;
- Vigorously monitor and proactively minimize bad debt stemming from deemed and debts aged 85 days and beyond;
- Act as the designated representative for the Team Leader as needed, encompassing responsibilities such as maintaining reporting and overseeing team management;
- Actively support ongoing process improvements;
- Engage in the active promotion and embodiment of the Debt Team's mission and values.
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- Demonstrable experience within a debt management environment;
- Proven debt management skills and experience;
- IT skills in MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook.
