rTriibe are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic School Cover Supervisor & Teaching Assistant to join our team to support our busy partner secondary schools on flexible day to day basis in Belper and the surrounding areas

Key Responsibilities:

Covering classes in the absence of a teacher and delivering preprepared lesson plans
Maintaining discipline and managing behaviour in the classroom
Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of students during lessons
Reporting any incidents or concerns to the relevant member of staff
Providing support to pupils with their learning where required
Encouraging and promoting a positive learning environment
Liaising with teaching staff and senior leaders where necessary
Previous experience working with secondary schoolaged students is desirable but not essential
Supervisory experience in a busy working environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
A positive and proactive approach to work
A willingness to learn and develop within the role
Available to work at short notice

Salary:
£77.50-£80.00 per day
