What does the role involve?

EMBS Engineering is working in partnership with a leading precision engineering business that specialises in the manufacture of small to medium sized, complex, safety-critical components for a number of market-leading OEM's within high profile markets.

Located in Northampton, due to increased orders, our client is looking to recruit a CNC Setter Operator to join their business on a permanent basis.


What experience do you need?

  • Proven CNC Milling/Turning experience
  • Strong capabilities in setting and operating multiaxis CNC Machines using Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controls
  • Previous background of machining small to medium sized precision components for high profile industries including; Aerospace, Automotive, Motorsport, Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Medical or any other advanced manufacturing sectors
  • Comfortable performing multiple set ups per day
  • Confidence in performing self inspection of parts using manual measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Worked with small to medium batch sizes
