Apex Parking are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated and customer focused person to join our team at Blackfriars Car park in Ipswich.

Overall purpose of the Position


A Customer Service Officer (CSO) is responsible for providing outstanding customer service whilst maintaining Apex Parking's high quality standards for car park presentation.


In doing so, a CSO will be required to perform a range of duties including but not limited to ensuring customers have the latest and most relevant product and service information, onsite maintenance and car park operations.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service

  • Encourage repeat visitation by providing excellent proactive service to customers by anticipating customer needs and responding quickly to resolve any problems.
  • Advise Apex Parking customers of the latest deals and offerings provided by head office and take all reasonable steps to ensure customers have the most appropriate product.
  • Ensure all incidents and/or complaints are handled within guidelines and reported promptly ensuring any follow up items are completed within assigned timeframes.
  • Maintain a neat and professional personal presentation, ensuring that your uniform is clean, tidy and in good repair.

General Quality Standards

  • Comply with local operating procedures (LOPs) to ensure corporate quality standards of car park presentation are maintained at all times.
  • Identifying, repairing and undertaking basic/routine car park maintenance requirements, recording, monitoring and reporting problems.
  • Identifying and undertaking basic/routine cleaning requirements on a daily basis.
  • Completing regular walks of the car park to ensure equipment is functioning properly and where it is not, report this to your supervisor.

Salary:
£11.44 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 10 per week
