The Community Rehabilitation and Falls Service part of Guys and St.

Thomas NHS Foundation Trust, Adult Community Services is looking to recruit a highly motivated and enthusiastic part time Band 3 Therapy Assistant.

The Service covers both the Boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.

The post holder will mainly work in the Pulross Centre in Brixton on the Intermediate care ward, but will be expected to work from other centres/locations within the boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark as required.


Applicants should have experience of delivering rehabilitation to adult and older persons with various needs, multiple co-morbidities and falls with support from qualified therapy staff.

The post holder will be required to support service developments and show flexibility when adapting to change.

The post holder will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to implement timely and person-centred assessments and rehabilitation.

The role includes partnership working across teams within the Rehab and Therapy Services and other agencies within primary and secondary health and social care.

Excellent communication skills and an ability to prioritise their own caseload of patients are essential.


The post holder will be required to contribute to the 7 day therapy service on the Pulross Intermediate Care Ward.
