Fleet Fitter the opportunity to join our expanding
Northern Operations Team based in
Castleford.

Fleet Fitter you will be a part of our commitment to deliver what we promise for our clients, within the leading essential infrastructure services provider operating within the UK & Ireland.

With 8 depots across the UK, M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions provide innovative plant and fleet asset management solutions across M Group Services.
9,000 vehicles and over
25,000 owned or externally hired plant assets.
Our team has grown rapidly and we are responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles, supplying the Water, Energy, Transport, Data and Telecommunication sector.
Who you are?
As a Workshop fitter you will have experience of working on fleet as well as strong IT experience.
As a Fleer Fitter, you'll get the opportunity to:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to fleet
- Fault diagnose and rectify all types of mechanical faults found
- Ensure Health & Safety and good working practices within the workshop are followed
- Completion of work is via a PDA device to ensure electronic work records
- Carry out minor and major repairs as directed
- Identification and capture of damaged fleet at the depot
- Daytoday communication across plant office, yard and workshop functions
- Ensure that all M Group Services Plant & Fleet Solutions 'Safely, Healthy, Environmental & Quality'(SHEQ) policies and procedures are adhered to, adopting a safe method of working at all times
What you'll bring:
- Fully qualified plant technician to NVQ3 or equivalent through a recognised training scheme
- Experience of working on fleet
- Competent use of company IT and diagnostic tooling
- Driving Licence essential
- Fork Lift Licence
- Training will be given
- General plant electrics knowledge desirable
