We're seeking a motivated Administrator to join our team at the River Hamble Harbour Office (part of Hampshire County Council), where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our operations along the river.
The Role:
- As an
Administrator, you will be running and coordinating the daytoday administrative tasks related to Harbour activities and supporting your Harbour Office colleagues with their admin needs. This essential role provides support to management and the Harbour team through answering incoming communications, managing mail correspondence, and carrying out general admin responsibilities such as typing up letters and reports, data entry, financial invoicing/purchasing card control, filing, printing, scanning and photocopying, along with various ad hoc duties such as ordering office supplies and taking minutes at meetings.As the frontface of the Harbour Office reception you will be greeting visitors and dealing with a wide range of enquiries. A customerfacing administrative role requires a specific set of skills that include the ability to communicate with clients, solve problems, set customer expectations, and occasionally resolve complaints.
