Our Client

Our client is a heavy engineering business based in South Yorkshire, recognised Nationally and Internationally for their expertise in specialist Mechanical & Electrical Turnkey Systems across a wide range of engineering market sectors.

Due to increased demands and the growth of their work across several sectors, they are now seeking an experienced, electrically focused, Project Engineer to join their team in delivering complex projects in a very fast-paced environment.

The Role
Our client is looking to attract the best.

As Electrical Project Engineer your remit will be to provide support in all aspects of electrical engineering relating to manufacture, controls and integration (hydraulic and pneumatic) of bespoke solutions.

Your expertiseand understanding of control systems, design and commissioning will support the existing engineering & project teams who are delivering large moving machinery projects for heavy industries.

You will join a structure of technical experts who are all high performingand at the top of their chosen field of expertise.

To be successful in this role you will possess/be:

An Electrical Engineering qualification to HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent.
Detailed knowledge of BS7671, control panel/MCC design and specifications, instrumentation, and control systems.
Experience of designing industrial control systems.
Experience within project management of electrical engineering and controls projects from tendering to commissioning.
A flexible approach and a cando attitude.
Experience in designing & programming PLC / SCADA systems using Siemens, Mitsubishi & Allen Bradley equipment would be of particular benefit although not essential.
A knowledge and understanding of AC/DC drives systems and or hydraulic systems would be an advantage.
