We are looking for a Fit-Out Sub Contractor Supervisor to join our Products and Processing Division based at our site in Sherburn, Malton.
The purpose of this role is to lead and develop multi-skilled teams to achieve the production programme within budget, whilst ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safe working practices and product quality.
The key responsibilities of the role will be to review engineering specifications, drawings, and diagrams for projects before issue to production teams, organising plant equipment and material requirements to achieve project delivery, and to issue and maintain permits to work systems.
Leading teams will be an important part of the job, as this will be required to deliver business objectives within the agreed timescale and budget.
You will need to manage and develop the performance of team members to maintain focus on customer value and service, and to organise manpower for the deployment of labour.
You will be required to develop and promote a quality culture throughout all operations and directly address any quality issues, ensuring that standards are achieved to the requirements of the relevant technical specifications, planning packages, established quality procedures, methods statements, and BS EN ISO 9001 quality processes.
We are looking for someone who is educated to a good standard has a proven track record of supervising both internal staff in an industrial setting and has good communication skills.
