Senior Performance Analyst - London, United Kingdom - BNY Mellon
Description
The Performance team provides an essential service in quantifying and explaining what returns have been delivered and how.Our team produces standard performance, attributions, and client reports to meet daily, monthly, and quarterly deadlines and is involved in developing and delivering performance & attribution reporting to be utilized by investment professionals, product teams and external customers.
- Daily and monthly calculation of performance returns across Fixed Income funds
- Deliver performance, attribution and ex post risk statistics for Fixed Income funds
- Provide detailed explanations to fund managers on performance numbers, with a strong focus on fixed income attribution numbers
- Maintain strong relationships with the fund managers and fixed income investment specialists
- Ensure that queries are investigated appropriately and resolved within specified timeframes
- Provide training, guidance and support to junior team members
Experience & Qualifications:
- 35 years' experience within the asset management industry in a performance measurement role
- Strong working knowledge of Fixed Income Attribution
- Detailed understanding of underlying analytics used to drive attribution results
- Understanding of a wide range of instrument types would be advantageous, including derivatives
- Strong working proficiency in Excel
- Working knowledge of VBA and SQL is preferred
