About the role
As a Data Consultant you will bring the invaluable expertise to enable our customers to understand, trust and exploit their data.
You will be responsible for assessing, strategizing, implementing, and sustaining data governance and management in line with industry standards, legal requirements, and business needs.
You will join our multi-disciplinary Information Data Systems & Software team in the Defence and Security sector, an industry which provides unparalleled opportunities to work on fascinating projects in diverse environments - from land, sea, air, and space - and we want to take you with us This is an opportunity to take your career to the next level, collaborating with data architects, data scientists, cyber specialists, and system engineers.

Essential technical skills:
- proven experience in data governance and/or management with knowledge of relevant methodologies and guidance,
- proven experience working independently with mínimal technical oversight,
- ability to line management others compassionately, and
- ability to gain full UK security clearance, and you should have resided in the UK for the past 5 years'.
Non-essential but desirable skills include:
- DAMA Certified/Working towards DAMA certification,
- experience of data management audits,
- ability to line management others compassionately, and
- experience managing a technical service desk.
