Description
OTAQ Group Limited are looking for draughtsperson using DraftSight, SolidWorks, & PDM would be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings & 3D models of intricate electrical connector components, assemblies, tools & jigs.
This person would be proficient in using DraftSight & SolidWorks to create detailed drawings, including dimensions, tolerances & material specifications, as well as creating 3D models of parts & assemblies for manufacturing.
Additionally, this person would use PDM software for managing & maintaining the design data, including storing, organizing & tracking the data throughout the design process.
The draughtsperson would work closely with engineers & suppliers to ensure that the designs meet all necessary specifications & standards.
This person would also be responsible for maintaining & updating existing drawings, designs & troubleshoot any issues that arise during the design process.
Salary and benefits depending on experience.-
Responsibilities_
- Creating detailed technical drawings & 3D models of mechanical products & systems using DraftSight, SolidWorks & PDM software.
- Collaborating with engineers & suppliers to ensure designs meet all necessary specifications & standards
- Managing & maintaining all design data using PDM software
- Troubleshoot & resolve any designrelated issues that arise during the design process
- Continuously updating & improving existing designs
- Promote a positive QHSE culture
- Communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders as required
- Contribute to the positive development of OTAQ Group, it's process's and procedures
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities_
- Experience and ability using MS Excel and other MS Office, DraftSight, Solidworks and PDM
- Strong verbal and written communicator
- Attention to detail is paramount
- Able to work under pressure
- Good organisation and timekeeping skills, achieving deadlines

£30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
