As a Sales Representative based within our Building Products Business at our Uddingston Reginal Office in the South Scotland Region, you will be responsible for the sales of our comprehensive range of dense and lightweight Concrete Blocks and Concrete Products.


You're not someone who shies away from challenge; you can think quickly on your feet and make timely decisions and work accurately with excellent attention to detail.

You will develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers across the region; collaborating with the wider team to manage key customers, delivering maximum value to the business.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • To deliver a continual improvement in business growth achieving sales revenue/margin, budgets and targets, in accordance with strategic objectives
  • To establish, maintain and grow relationships with key business customers at the appropriate level, to understand their objectives and ensure they are delivered
  • To maintain a high degree of market and competitor knowledge
  • To target major opportunities and position the business as the market choice
  • To be able to work as part of a close area team and with all other business stakeholders.

  • Extensive relevant sales experience in a similar role
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines by estimating time frames and monitoring own progress
  • The ability to anticipate problems and consider a solution and the ability to negotiate and work collaboratively with colleagues on both a formal and informal level
  • A commercially focused outlook who responds appropriately on your own to improve outcomes and process's and assumes responsibility for your own performance by demonstrating drive and initiative
  • Ability to plan, organise and oversee multiple operations
  • Excellent communication skills with an analytical approach and the ability to work accurately at a detailed level
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong team ethic and strong goal orientation skills with a flexible attitude and be open to change
  • A valid UK Driving License
