Summary of Role


We are looking for an organised, reliable, and patient executive assistant to coordinate the diary and task management of our President, who is also head of the Positive Psychology Guild Autism Centre and an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Autism at a university.

The ideal applicant will be confident, a quick learner, and solutions-oriented.

They will have a genuine interest in working with and alongside autistic individuals and learning about Autism, Neurodiversity, and Inclusion.

Clear and efficient communications is essential.

The successful applicant will also help to launch and coordinate projects and events run by the Autism Centre. These include an art-based project for autistic individuals, and neurodiversity and inclusion training in companies and organisations.


Main Tasks

  • Prepare internal and external documents for the project team
  • Schedule meetings and appointments and manage travel itineraries
  • Arrange online and inperson events such as corporate training
  • Maintain an organised filing system of paper and electronic documents
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality

Required Experience & Skills

  • Executive diary and events management
  • Strong communications (written, spoken)

Working Hours
The working hours are 15 hours per week.

These are estimated at 3 hours per day from Monday to Friday with a maximum of 60 hours per month.


Professional Training
As an education provider, we encourage job-related learning. Training is included in this role outside of working hours.

The successful applicant will be invited to complete a Level 5 qualification in Autism Awareness or a Level 3 qualification in Neurodiversity & Inclusion.


Job Types:
Part-time, Contract

Contract length: 6 months

Part-time hours: 15 per week

£10.00 per hour
