Description

We are looking for X2 shop assistants to work within our Golcar branch. There are 2 contracts available hours and 15 hours with flexibility to cover holidays needed.

Responsibilities include:

Serve all customers efficiently using the highest standards of Customer Service.

Serving, Cash Handling, Washing and Preparing ingredients, Cooking, Cleaning.

To follow safe working practices at all times in accordance with health and safety policies, procedures and legislation.
To ensure the hygiene of self, equipment and working area meets required standards at all times.
To complete all daily rituals.
Liaise with manager to ensure all counter and window displays, merchandising, ticketing and marketing materials are displayed in all store to best effect.
To set up tills correctly with all codes and correct and up to date pricing on request from management.
To complete all shop transactional paperwork.
To advise manager of any required changes to product standing orders, sandwich filling levels and grocery levels.
To follow portion control standards, keep wastage to a minimum and record accurately on relevant paperwork.
Advise Bakery of any quality related issues on a daily basis.
Advise Bakery of any lack of order fulfilment on a daily basis.
To assist in the achievement of 5star hygiene rating.
To adhere to all management instructions at all times.
To regularly update and familiarise self with company Quality Management System (QMS), its' policies and procedures.
Advise shop manager of any required maintenance works.
Any other reasonable request from a manager or director.
