An exciting opportunity in our Warehouse Operations team.

An experienced team leader, you will manage the smooth running of operational process and safe working practices within our fast-paced environment.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving performance while making a positive contribution to our values.

With strong organisational skills, you'll ensure that targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are agreed and communicated, working closely with your direct reports to enable them to allocate resources as required.

You'll use your knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques to solve operational issues and anticipate and prevent problems before they arise.

You will also actively promote and improve Health and Safety and good working practices.

You will also be responsible for:

Directly managing up to five Team Leaders
Managing the allocation of labour, overtime and supervision
Working with colleagues in other departments to achieve business results
Manage disciplinary and performance issues, including appraisals
Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety responsibilities and policies.

To succeed in this role you will need:

Experience managing a team of up to 30 people in a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment
Strong collaboration, communication and presentation skills
A positive, professional "can do" attitude towards colleagues
An understanding of customer needs and priorities to drive activity
The ability to coordinate work efforts amongst a team while retaining accountability
A leadership style that is engaging and forward thinking
Willingness and ability to work on a 4on / 4off rota, between 8.00am and 8.00pm.

Please note:

This role will occasionally involve manual handling, moving and lifting weights up to 25kg, and long periods of standing.
