Do you have a passion for supporting others and would like to make a difference to people affected by cancer?


If so, we have a fabulous opportunity for you as a
Support & Information Centre Lead in our Charitable Operations team at our centre in
Kings Lynn.

In this role you will be responsible for the day to day running of the centre and the supervision of staff and volunteers.

You can put your listening and advising skills to use to support someone with a cancer diagnosis or their loved ones.


About Big C


As a regional cancer charity, Big C are dedicated to supporting anyone affected by cancer in Norfolk and neighbouring counties whilst working with key partners in research and healthcare to improve future outcomes.

There are an estimated 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK. 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime.

Big C seeks and implements new approaches and projects to make sure that no one is missing out on the opportunity to access our support.

About the role


Our Support and Information Centre Lead enhance the wellbeing of Big Cs service users with full oversight of the provision of cancer information and support; in person, by telephone and/or video calls.

Creating a supportive plan within our wealth of holistic services, such as our physical activity program, wellbeing services, counselling and complimentary therapy.

Signposting to other relevant organisations and keeping informed of local provisions.
