Description
We are recruiting for two positions in Robotics and Autonomous Systems.

We are looking for highly motivated, research-focused individuals who will undertake internationally excellent research and contribute to teaching in the Department of Computer Science at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

One appointment is at the Lecturer level (Grade 8), and the second appointment is at the Senior Lecturer level (Grade 9).

Highly pertinent to this vacancy is the Department¿s leading role in the Digital Innovation Facility (DIF).

An environment that is purpose-built for collaboration, the DIF facilitates opportunities for Computer Science researchers to collaborate with colleagues across the campus at Liverpool as well as collaborators and industrial partners outside the University.

Our main collaborators within the University are the departments of Electrical Engineering and Electronics; Psychology, Sociology, and Law; the Institute of Ageing and Chronic Disease; and the Department of Chemistry.

Our external collaborators include the Royal Liverpool University Hospital; the Alder Hey Children¿s Hospital; and our business partners.

The post-holders are expected to contribute to the further development of links between the Department and its collaborators to enable research on robotics and autonomous systems to grow and flourish in Liverpool.
