Description

Glenburnie is a 23 bed residential care home set in a quiet area of Leven. We are a family owned care home, where our residents wellbeing is at the center of everything we do.

We are looking for an individual who has a passion for home cooking, fresh baking and working with the elderly.

The successful applicant will be responsible for cooking all meals and light refreshments for our residents.

We encourage creative ideas and new suggestions for our home and expect that you will liaise with the residents about their meal preferences also.

The successful applicant will ensure all Health & Safety and Infection Control Procedures are adhered to, whilst maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen.

As the role is lone working, the ability to manage your own time is essential.

A knowledge of the Cook Safe Manual is beneficial alongside the dietary requirements and prescribed dietary modifications that is often required for older adults.

The shift times are 07:30 - 17:30, hours will be a week, a total of 8-12 shifts per month.
