A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a speech and language therapist to work across acute and regional services within NHSGGC Acute services within Inverclyde.

This post offers a unique caseload mix, combining input to the Inverclyde Royal Hospital Adult Acute service (0.6) and the Inverclyde Neurorehabilitation Service This full time post is based at IRH, Greenock.

This post offers the opportunity to develop specialist skills in the field of adult acquired neurology.


The IRH adult acquired team provide input to a range of in patients across medical and rehabilitation wards and offer an outpatient service to patients with a range of aetiologies.


Inverclyde Neurorehabilitation Service (NRS) is part of NHSGGC Regional Services which provides interdisciplinary care to patients with complex neurological conditions.

AHPs within this service work collaboratively to provide a seamless service covering our specialised inpatient unit (receiving patients from throughout the West of Scotland), out-patients and community visits in Inverclyde.

This service model ensures patient centred meaningful outcomes for our patients and their support networks throughout the complete patient journey.

High value is placed on SLT's contribution to Inverclyde NRS and collaborative multi-agency working.
