Liaising with clinicians, operational management, the pathway navigation team and the diagnostic team to start a patients pathway in to services within the Division of Medical Specialties.
- Skilled use of ERS, EPR and LUNA systems.
- Liaising with clinicians to ensure quick triage.
- Working with the diagnostic team to push tests through as quickly as possible.
- Communicating with GP's to make sure inappropriate patients are directed to the correct service.
- Transferring clinician comments between systems.
- Scheduling patients for their first appointment within the relevant service
- Outcoming the patients triaging activity on EPR.
- Maintaining a waiting list of patients and escalating issues in a timely way.
