Are you a logistics or purchasing administrator, looking to work for a friendly and supportive team where you will feel valued every day as a Shipping and Purchasing Administration Assistant?

Our client is looking for someone to join their small and busy team. They are passionate about offering excellent customer service for their clients across the world.


What the Shipping and Purchasing Administration job involves

  • Arranging shipments across the world
  • Checking stock movements
  • Ensuring that the Customs Documents are completed correctly
  • Booking and scheduling deliveries
  • Liaising with Freight Forwarding Agents and your internal sales team
  • Addressing Queries and resolving issues

Skills required

  • Experience of working in a shipping or logistics role previously
  • Experience of using of spreadsheets/excel
  • Attention to detail and a great eye for detail
  • You will need to be able to communicate effectively with all members of the team
  • You will need to be able to think on your feet and look for positive solutions to customers issues and look to resolve problems in a proactive way.
  • We are looking for someone who is selfmotivated and able to manage their workload effectively.

Other information

  • Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Central location, easy walk from Beverley Train Station, commutable from Beverley, Driffield, Hull, Pocklington and Selby
  • 20 days holiday + Bank holiday increasing by one each year to a max of five.
