Description
As Smart Choice Metering continues its exciting growth plans in 2023, We have another new position for a forward thinking and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our expanding team here at our offices in Trafford Park, Manchester.
Role and Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Aid in delivering a full in-house recruitment service on a range of diverse roles across the business, reducing agency reliance by developing direct recruitment strategies
- Work with the wider HR Team and group managers to develop emerging talent pipelines for apprentices, graduate recruits, interims and placement schemes
- Oversee the employee onboarding experience
- Create / update job specifications and job descriptions
- Administer tests and assessments when required
- Own the social media content, cadence of posts and responses
- Process and manage appointment and unsuccessful letters
- Negotiate and manage the offer process and referencing
- Ensure that employment regulations are adhered to and best practice is maintained
- Actively contribute to HR project work and other duties where required.
Key Experience and Skillset:
- Previous experience of successful delivery as a Talent Acquisition Specialist through an agency or inhouse environment
- Working towards growth targets (KPI's)
- Minimum growth target being 15 FTE a month
- Experienced with recruiting via social networks such as LinkedIn
- Headhunting and raising employers brand offering through various means
- Working in a fastpaced environment and the ability to manage a high volume of roles at all levels
- Ability to plan and organise workload, with strong attention to detail
- Proficient use of Microsoft office packages, specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Excellent communicator and influencer
- Works collaboratively to deliver a superior result
- Demonstrates passion for recruitment & HR, exceeding customer needs
- Driven towards achieving results and drives a positive impact for the business

- Flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities and assist the HR team when needed
