An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as part of an integrated approach to wound care delivery in a joint venture with York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (Y&STHFT) Nimbuscare and the ICB.

As such Y&STHFT will host the post of Lead Practitioner - Integrated Wound Clinics and are therefore looking for a driven and innovative individual to develop wound care practice.


The role will require the applicant to lead the integrated development and implementation of quality improvement strategies for both simple and complex wound management within clinic venues across the Vale of York.

This will include close working with primary and community care services (Integrated Care) to provide clinical and strategic leadership, and to include education.

The post holder will work closely with key stakeholders in the design and delivery of improvement interventions, to deliver high standards of wound care & lower limb management.


The role would suit an experienced practitioner, with specialist knowledge in wound care as well as experience in people management and quality improvement.

Knowledge of the National Wound Care Strategy Programme would be an advantage.
