Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate companyowned vans to transport goods and materials between locations.
Load and unload items from the van, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods to prevent damage during transit.
Plan efficient routes to optimise delivery schedules and minimize fuel consumption.
Perform routine maintenance checks on the van, including checking oil, water, and tire pressure, and report any issues promptly.
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients during pickups and deliveries.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of oneself, other road users, and the cargo being transported.
Communicate effectively with management and other team members to coordinate moves and resolve any issues that may arise.
Follow company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation, safety, and security at all times.

Requirements:

Valid UK driver's license with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of UK road regulations and routes.
Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
