Working as part of the Herefordshire & Worcestershire ICB Digital, Data, Analytics & Technology Team, we are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Project Support Officer to join our team in Hereford, and help provide a comprehensive support function within the ICB.

Digital Project Support Officer - Band 4

Based in Hereford / Home Working, with travel between sites as required.


The postholder will be providing important administrative support to the director and management team, as well as tasks assigned by programme and project managers to help with the delivery of key areas of work.


Experience of range of administrative processes would be an advantage, including diary coordination, working to deadlines, meeting arrangement and note taking.

The Project Support Officer role would provide a comprehensive professional and confidential project and programme support to the Herefordshire & Worcestershire ICS Digital Programme Team in the delivery of a number of projects and programmes across the ICB, ICS and Midlands region.


The digital programme is a large and complex programme of work, with programmes that span ICB, Primary Care, ICS and regional programmes.


The post holder will be responsible for managing their own workload and will be given delegated responsibility for managing certain aspects of projects.

This will include overseeing activities and ensuring that timescales are being met. To develop and maintain information systems that assist in the delivery of projects ensuring that progress is accurately captured. The post-holder will exercise judgement and discretion in the day-to-day handling, monitoring and filtering of appointments and enquires.

Responsibilities:


  • To assist in the organisation and project planning of delegated projects related to the Herefordshire & Worcestershire ICS & ICB Digital programme
  • To provide a robust administrative service to support the delivery of the programme, including support to directors and associate directors within the team.
  • To prioritise duties, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
  • To lead on delegated aspects of projects and operational activities as agreed with the programme and project managers.
  • To effectively plan and manage delegated aspects of specific projects.
  • To coordinate digital ICS, regional and team wide events and activities.
