What you will be doing:

Implement and support the UK's international value chain strategy, sourcing goods in line with UK requirements
Drive knowledge and experience of products and the end to end production process to share with UK team
Hold initial negotiations with suppliers (through delegated authority parameters set by the UK) to achieve target pricing agreed with UK team and mitigate the need for exhaustive UK negotiations with suppliers/factories
Responsible for delivery of product development to set specification and management of sample requirements to the UK
Build relationships with supplier/factories to understand best practice, opportunities, whilst challenging and staying close to the market to explore alternatives
Monitor the supplier / factories to pass audit under CSR standard
Build up healthy supplier matrix
Working with team members to complete the projects as timeline
Understand and analyse the Sourcing area advantages or weakness of own subcategory
Develop strong personal relationships with stakeholders and other senior executives across the business

What we are looking for:

Knowledge and experience of sourcing, category sector and associated procurement best practice.
Previous experience sourcing across categories such as construction, embedded material, furniture, têxtiles and electricals would be desirable but not essential
Experience of Procurement execution including, market analysis, sourcing strategies, tender negotiation and supplier management.
Experience of product quality requirements and standard in the UK / Germany market.
Outstanding communications skills and fluent in both Mandarin and English (written and verbal)
Ability to communicate & influence effectively at senior Sourcing executive level
Good team player & happy to share with team members
